Job Description
Traveling Superintendent - Salary Is Based On Candidate Experience


We are an industry leader specializing in the design and construction of aquatic facilities across the nation is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team that builds fun for all ages. Applicant should have strong knowledge of the Design-Build Process, field coordination, commercial construction, mechanical systems, and a willingness to travel. Aquatic construction experience is helpful but not required.


The Superintendent will be expected to perform the following functions: Onsite Management of projects ranging in size from $1 million to $60 million, from the permit process through construction and final inspection. Other responsibilities include coordination with other contractors, project scheduling, an inspection of work in progress, job site safety, and managing subcontractors.


Experience level:


  • 5 years - 25+ years of experience in construction
  • Willingness to travel
  • 100% (Required) Work Location: On the road


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Develop and maintain reports on Construction activity and keep management informed of progress on a regular basis.
  • Attend and hold project progress meetings with subcontractors, preparation and distribution meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements, including but not limited to OSHA rules.
  • Review project documents to determine time frame, Means & Methods, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Receiving and checking in of deliveries
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, vendors, contractors.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines with the Project Manager
  • Site inspections and safety audits
  • Coordinate all subcontractors and project schedule.
  • Coordinate compliance with all relevant governmental and regulatory agencies.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Field Superintendent construction experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
