Overview:

The Travel Retail Project Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join our client's organization as a key player in managing and coordinating the execution of Travel Retail (TR) store projects. As the Travel Retail Project Manager, you will lead a project team of cross-brand project coordinators, overseeing the analysis, scheduling, resource management, and problem-solving aspects of the TR projects. Your role will be pivotal in supporting end-to-end project ownership and ensuring predictable store delivery dates.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead the project team in effectively coordinating and analyzing the status of TR store projects. Develop and implement cross-brand strategies and protocols to facilitate end-to-end project ownership and achieve predictable store delivery dates.
2. Process Improvement: Spearhead process change and refinement initiatives to support schedule compression. Document and maintain current and proposed processes and standard operating procedures.
3. Department Onboarding Tool: Take charge of the development and maintenance of the department onboarding tool, streamlining the onboarding process for efficient project execution.
4. International Travel Retail Support: Provide specialized project management support to the RE Travel Retail (TR) program in SD&C. As part of this support, work closely with key business partners to ensure the successful execution of TR store projects.
5. External Consultant Management: Collaborate with the team in seeking external experienced consultants with relevant Travel Retail project management experience, enhancing the team's capabilities and expertise.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, across various time zones.
• Willingness to travel for site visits, etc., with approximately 2-3 trips per month.
• Background in construction or architecture is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of international logistic processes and documentation required for international shipping.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on International Travel Retail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience representing a retail brand within a partner-based model.

Timeline:

The client is actively conducting interviews and aims to fill the position as soon as possible.

Note: This role is project-based to support the expansion of Travel Retail stores. The Travel Retail Project Manager will be responsible for managing 15-20 projects per year, each in various stages of the process. Recent graduates will not be considered; the role requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
