Let’s talk about the role (Travel Coordinator ):

We are hiring a Travel Coordinator to join our growing San Diego office. The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing and booking accommodations, ground travel, and air travel for our traveling inspectors.

Why is this role important to us? The Travel Coordinator will problem-solve tricky travel situations as they arise and plan week long travel for multiple inspectors simultaneously.

SCHEDULE: This is a remote position because of the schedule! Candidates must be available to work the following schedule: Sunday (12-8PM) and Monday through Thursday (2-9PM) .

Travel Coordinator Will…

• Follow pre-established company guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Assist Accounting Department with collections, expense reporting and reconciling corporate credit card used for airfare, lodging, and rental cars
• Research best travel options in each city and determine the most cost-effective accommodation, ground travel, and air travel
• Other administrative functions as needed
• Understand brand-specific knowledge in hotel, ground transportation and air travel to be able to navigate and recommend appropriate bookings
• Heavy schedule and calendar management for the travel program and scheduling for Consultants
• Manage logistics and travel for field inspectors from beginning to end of week-long trips, which includes interstate travel for up to 5 days per trip
• Resolve any issues that may derail travel itinerary

Travel Coordinator Has…

• 2+ years experience managing high-volume travel logistics, a plus
• 2+ years of administrative, logistics or other related experience
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize urgent and important information
• Ability to work early morning, occasional evenings and weekends
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ambition for rapid career progression

Compensation and Benefits:

• Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k
• $24-26/hour DOE
