Overview

This role will be assisting one of our independent advisor agency owners with his fast-paced corporate business, while also learning the travel business from the perspective of an agency owner. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take that next step with their travel career.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

Responsibilities

· Ticketing, exchanges, refunds, hotel, car, and air reservations

· Handle calls, emails, and facilitate from point of contact to resolution.

· Clearly relay information to clients and counsel them on all travel options

· Problem-solve to fix potential travel and scheduling issues as soon as they occur

· Working knowledge of world geography and the basics of traveling internationally

· Adept at using the internet to research destinations, accommodations, travel advisories, reviews, and costs in order to best meet customers’ travel objectives.

Requirements

· Proficient in Sabre with minimum one (1) year of experience

· Associates degree or minimum two (2) years of experience working in the travel industry as an agent

· Working knowledge of Sabre formats, air ticketing, hotel, cars and non-arc invoicing

· Able to handle difficult clients and resolve disputes to clients satisfaction

. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

· Must be willing to work on office premises at least two (2) days per week

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/ or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Job requires employee to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.

Repetitive motion, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/ or fingers.

Typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
