Transportation Supervisor Jobs

Your responsibilities

We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Transportation Supervisor to be based out of Wentzville, MO. The The key responsibilities of the Transportation Supervisor position include, but are not limited to the following:

•  Maintain written/computerized records and other forms of information.
•  Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and customers.
•  Ensure that working conditions are safe at all times.
•  Cover absenteeism among drivers.
•  Follow all ISO requirements.
•  Responsible for administrative duties of the area.
•  All other duties assigned by reporting Manager/Supervisor.
•  Delegate equipment and loads to shuttle as required.

Your profile

•  Strong time management, safety, and coordination skills, verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking/problem resolution ability.
•  2-3 years prior experience in the transportation industry
•  1-2 years previous experience in a management or supervisory role
