Job Description

Our client, a highly-regarded national medical association based in the RTP area, is actively recruiting for a very sharp, capable, tech-savvy professional to assume key role on its Medical Education team.



This association provides a variety of educational programs to its members (physicians and other clinicians). This position will be responsible for coordinating general education functions for the association’s virtual events, online education and webinars.



Key Things to Note:

· This position is responsible for the coordination of the department’s online platforms and logistics. Targeted candidate will bring exceptional program/project coordination skills and ability to assess priorities to ensure deliverables are met.

· This position will involve juggling many different projects/programs as well as being the front line for constituents’ questions/concerns. Seek supremely organized candidate who enjoys being the “go to.”

· This position will be heavily involved in the technical applications used to support these programs. Seek candidate with strong technical aptitude, resourcefulness and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

· This is a direct hire role. The position can be remote, if commutable (must reside in NC or surrounding states), or on-site at the organization’s Research Triangle Park, NC offices. Occasional travel will be involved.


Selected Duties:

  • Manage online course faculty (invitations, speaker confirmation, disclosures, presentation collection/review, etc.)
  • Coordinate subscription-based products (enrollment/renewals, point of contact for requests, recruitment of new programs)
  • Provide 1st level of support for education help desk (initiate/manage/track requests)
  • Manage webinars (registration, postings, coordinate rehearsal/live event activities, materials, close-out/evaluations)
  • Monitor/Update online education catalog
  • Track and develop activities for the online portal


Targeted candidate will offer a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience supporting education-related duties ideally in a scientific/medical setting.

Other priorities include:

· Superb project management skills, including ability to simultaneously juggle numerous projects.

· Strong technical aptitude/skills; experience with MS Office products, database programs and online applications.

· Strong process improvement mentality.

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with a highly sophisticated clientele.
