1st Shift, Tuesday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Pay rates starting at $20.00/hr. plus applicable shift differentials.

As the Trainer, you’ll be responsible for facilitating training programs for both new hires and existing employees, identifying training needs by evaluating knowledge gaps, strengths and weaknesses, and driving continuous process improvement initiatives. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Facilitate training opportunities using a variety of formats and techniques, including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures
• Support scheduled and unplanned training
• Update training documents and communicate process changes
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge in at least three departments in operations
• Support partners in driving a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure trainees understand and retain the training content
• Identify training needs by evaluating knowledge gaps, strengths and weaknesses of new hires and existing employees through observation, audit, etc.
• Ensure training documentation is created and maintained
• Communicate process and implementation inconsistencies to the appropriate leaders and provide remedial training when needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Ability to lift 10 to 25 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies

It'd be great if you also have:

• Professional training certification
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Training

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• 1 year of direct training experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Team player who enjoys and works well with others; ability to collaborate with peers
• 2 years of direct experience in a warehouse, manufacturing and/or operations environment
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or CRM
