Custodian, 3Rd Shift (Overnight)

1. Performs general, routine custodial duties to ensure spaces are prepared for the next day. 2. Duties include but not limited to; dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
3. Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal. 4. Wash, sanitize, and disinfect toilets, sinks, and showers5.Clean windows and mirrors6.Performs cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing to reduce viruses on campus.7.Minor Security: Ensuring doors and windows are locked after cleaning areas.8.Reports needs and concerns to Supervisor, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels.9.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.10.Assists in on-the-job training on routine procedures or new equipment.11.Perform snow removal and de-icing of main entrances.12.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
