Tow Truck Driver/Operator - Wilmington

Summary:

The drivers responsibilities include but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the truck, getting to customers in a timely manner, collect payments and submitting daily, provide receipts, and maintain call log in system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience in light duty mechanical work helpful.
• Must be available weekends and evenings and able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience towing with a good safety record and good interpersonal skills.
• Must possess and retain a clean driver's license.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
• Automotive repair experience preferred but not required
• 1-year towing experience required
• High school diploma or GED required - must be at least age 21.
• Ability to learn and understand collision repair processes and terminology

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Travel may be required
• Requires frequent driving, must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass DMV check
• Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to eye protection, and gloves
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen
• May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in inclement weather
