Tow Truck Driver – Light Duty Jobs

A base rate of $21.50 to $23.00/hour - based on experience

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside; and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.

Be 22 years of age or older with a clean driving record to be approved by our insurance.

A DOT physical card or the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Spot cleaning walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills

Work with sales, service and body shop department managers to transport vehicles as needed within the auto group.

Provide tow service for Intercompany inventory logistics

Follow proper safety rules by wearing personal protective equipment

Report vehicle damage immediately to supervisor

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.

Driving truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.

Zero to two years of relevant experience.

Maintaining telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.

Inspecting truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

Perform emergency road service, towing, accident recovery, and abandoned vehicle recovery using assigned truck and towing equipment correctly as trained.

Represent appropriate company image through excellent service, safe operation, and timeliness.

Perform necessary documentation accurately and timely.

Well presented - clean, friendly, and polite are a MUST!

Located within 15 minutes from our Oconomowoc location.

Ability to safely lift 75 pounds unassisted.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field.

Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

In a safe and courteous manner, hauls vehicles to directed areas.

Completes the information on every towed vehicle including the place where the vehicle was found and removed.

Completes towing service slip when required.
