Job Description
Who are we hiring?

The primary function of this role will be to assist in the daily operations of the Madison Square Garden All Access Tour and contributing to giving our guests a world-class experience. This person will be responsible for assisting the tour guides along their routes and ensuring the order and safety of the guests. This position will be responsible for running our technology stations along the tour route and setting up/tearing down props. The role will serve as a brand ambassador for the venue tours and ensure our guests have a memorable experience.

What will you do?

  • Set up and break down the check-in desk, waiting area, and photo experiences
  • Trail each tour to ensure all guests stay together and ensure guest safety and security
  • Assist with welcoming large tour groups and organizing them into their respective tours
  • Greet tour guests during check-in with a positive demeanor.
  • Assist tour guides by looking up additional information and translations
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Secure, return, and observe proper use of equipment such as radios, keys, uniform, locker room, and props during tours.
  • Conduct frequent checks of the tour route throughout the day

What do you need to succeed?
    • Ability to adapt to requests and changes quickly and with short notice
    • Experience in a guest-facing industry that has a focus on customer experience
    • Ability to interact and work cordially alongside other departments
    • Good organizational skills to check in groups and collect tickets as necessary.
    • High level of commitment and flexibility required.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

    • Minimum availability 4 days a week including weekends and holidays.
    • General physical requirements such as lifting 25 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances up and down stairs, bending and constant motion is often required.
