Job Description

Job Summary


Toolmaker is to perform all jobs assigned by the workcenter manager to include but not limited to: safety, housekeeping, troubleshooting tooling, making new die pcs, die maintenance, welding tooling repair and adjustment.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Die maintenance.
  • All other jobs assigned.
  • Assisting all team members with troubleshooting on the floor or in the die maintenance area
  • Safety and housekeeping
  • Assist all dept with tooling needs.
  • Create work orders and input them into mq1/maintain x program.
  • Troubleshooting dies


Required Experience


  • Accredited technical training facility a plus.
  • 1+ years preferred in stamping facility.
  • Welding experience a plus


Required Safety Equipment


  • All PPE as required by company for the dept.


Educational Skills Required


  • Trade school/certificate journeyman card in related field
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.


Training Required


  • On the job training


Physical Job Requirements – ALL jobs


  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, 10 hour or 12-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lobs. on a consistent basis
  • Must be able to stand 10 - 12 hours daily.
  • Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must have physical dexterity.
