We are currently seeking a Mold Maker with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Develop precision tooling from blueprints and/or CAD programs to create accurate close-tolerance cavities cores and mold components to meet the customer specifications.
• Support the Toolroom area by ensuring all production molds are ready and available to meet the customer requirements.
• Rough-out mold components for heat treating, conduct precision finish grinding, fitting, polishing, and final mold assembly.
• Maintain toolroom machines, oil, change coolants, remove chips, and clean, etc.
• Comply with ISO policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
• Repair molds, tools, fixtures, and provide preventive maintenance to long-running molds.
• Troubleshoot and debug mold problems.

• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations

Desired Skills and Experience

• Able to use various software applications including CAD, Mastercam, and Solid works
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Basic Math and Reading Skills
• 7+ years of mold making experience. Plastics industry is required
• Able to use measurement equipment
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to run all toolroom equipment and CNC equipment, EDM, welding equipment, etc. Knowledge of loose piece and strip feed molds
