Summary
Noroton Presbyterian Child Care is seeking an experienced and nurturing early childhood educator to join us full time in providing care and education to children and families in Darien and the surrounding communities. We are a mid sized program that believes child care settings should feel like a second home for both children and staff, forming a welcoming and supportive community for everyone.
Duties
Responsibilities include:

• Communicating regularly with parents to build a supportive partnership
• Planning and implementing fun and engaging lesson plans
• Working cooperatively with co-teachers to care for a class of up to 8 children

Requirements
Preferred candidates have:

• Familiarity with the Project Approach or similar approaches to curriculum
• Background in early childhood education (CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's)
• Experience teaching in an early childhood setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
