Preschool - Teacher (P-3 Certification Needed)

Summary

We are currently seeking a State Mandated Preschool Program Teacher for our Child Development Center. The teacher MUST have a P-3 standard license or CE. This is a 10 month position with benefits. The teacher is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold assessment, and supervision of the children, Instructional Aid and Work Study's or volunteers.

Duties

• Parent communication through emails, Google Classroom, and face to face. Encouraging parent participation in the classroom and for workshops.
• Ability to work with others in a cooperative manner as a member of our team.
• Provide planning and execution of developmentally appropriate early childhood education experiences for each individual child.
• Knowledge of Google Classroom is preferable.
• Maintain records of the progress of each child's growth and development using the online Teaching Strategies Gold System.
• Bi-lingual is preferable
• Planning of activities in all domains, including social and emotional, cognitive and physical.
• Comfortable using technology is a must.
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Gold Assessment is preferable
• Ability to be flexible to work at school or from home using Google Classroom if needed.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• P-3 Certification with a NJ Standard Teachers License, CE or CEAS
• 2 years experience in group care with children
