We are looking for a Title Closing Processor, who will work as part of the closing team. As a closing processor, you will be responsible for preparing closing files that will be reviewed and signed at the closing table. You’ll work side-by-side with closers, lenders, production staff and sales agents as a key team member.
Responsibilities includes:
- Prepare financial cost statements for closing.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
- Manage progress of the title work and facilitate corrections or issues to help maintain a timely closing.
- Process, review for completeness and organize the closing file.
- Prepare and submit closed loan or assumption packages, deposits, and disbursement documentation, recording packages and commission packages to the appropriate departments or entities.
- Order information for the upcoming closing.
- Schedule closings, obtain and review documents to satisfy lien holders, maintain accuracy of files throughout the closing process.
Education:
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience:
- One to two years of experience required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Must possess a strong aptitude for figures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures and work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, with a customer service focus.
- May occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month.
