What You'll Do:

The Title Examiner assists in efficiently processing Title Insurance transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely service to the Parkway Title escrow branch office.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Examine and analyze mortgages, liens, judgements, plat books, maps, agreements, contracts, easements, and surveys.
• Ensure prescribed turnaround times are met by reporting; sending out title documents and policies within the required timeframes; consistently meeting established productivity requirements.
• Assist in the efficient processing of Title Insurance transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely service to the Closing Attorney’s office.
• Ability to perform online title plant searches to perform and examine title searches.
• Maintain the highest level of Customer Service by knowledgeably responding to questions from the Escrow staff, Closing Attorney, Accounting Department, Title Insurance underwriter, etc.
• Calculate Title Insurance Premiums for the Owners and/or Lenders Title Policies
• Maintain a positive and enduring relationships with the Closing Team as well as internal and external customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Assist in reviewing Certificate of Title searches; prepare Title Commitments.
• Summarize research findings to assist with the closing process

Education and Experience:

• Proven knowledge of title policies.
• High school or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Prior title examination experience, builder environment, a plus.
