Tire/ Lube Technician A.K.A The Fleet Specialist
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $26.50/Hourly (Bonus Included) (up to $1,200 a month) Overnight shift availability is needed
A Day In The Life:
The Fleet Specialist will complete various daily activities to ensure vehicles are safe and rental ready for customer satisfaction. The Fleet Specialist will be responsible for the following four facets of the Fleet Department; preventative maintenance, customer requests, onboarding, and offboarding. This is an hourly position with the opportunity for a performance bonus each month.
The Team and Environment:
Every market at Fluid Truck consists of one if not multiple Fleet Specialists and a Business Development Manager. The Fleet Specialist will be responsible for commuting all over the city in their company provided vehicle to complete their daily tasks. Each market will have a lot that houses a portion of the market's fleet and the fleet specialist will work at this location as well. These lots vary based on market availability and could be as follows: mall parking lots, gravel or dirt parking lots, etc.
What You’ll Bring to Fluid:
- Vehicle diagnosing, maintenance, and repair.
- Picking up and dropping off vehicles at various locations as needed.
- Work directly with Regional Fleet Manager to document and resolve issues and get vehicles back on the road
- Onboarding new vehicles includes: attaching decals, installing telematics, printing plates and making sure insurance cards are in the vehicles.
- Interact with customers to schedule services and inspections.
- Monitor all internal communication via Slack and email.
- Recording vehicle inspection using mobile app.
- Work alongside the local sales team to provide the best customer experience.
- Responsible for following scheduled shifts and accuracy clocking in and out.
- Coordinate maintenance repairs with vendors.
- Decommissioning vehicles which includes: removing decals, uninstalling telematics, removal of all registrations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to identify different colored wires.
- Automotive maintenance experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs; sitting, standing, bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling for up to 8 hours per day
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must be willing to commute as needed in a company provided vehicle.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime.
- Must be able to use our mobile app and navigate other mobile apps.
- Must be able to make decisions about prioritizing your workload.
- Must be a team player and have a can do/will do attitude.
