We are looking for a Test Engineer with 2+ years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry, who can design tests to validate mechanical, and electro-mechanical devices/systems. Lithium battery knowledge/experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D engineers to create test systems, develop fixtures, and setups to accurately test new and existing products.

Execute and evaluate a variety of tests, for durability, vibration, heat transfer, etc. Supervise testing and make observations, record data, and develop extensive test reports for both internal and external customer requirements

Analyze parts/assemblies under test for potential failures/weaknesses based on application requirements

Collaborate with R&D engineers to help create DVP spreadsheets for new products

Contribute to the design review process

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in 3D mechanical design and analysis tools
• Proven experience in writing lab reports
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Understand and apply GD&T Standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
