Essential Job Duties
Assist with greenhouse and lab activities to produce doubled haploid plants in wheat. Establish and maintain plants in greenhouse. Perform emasculation and pollination of mother plants, perform embryo rescue and chromosome doubling of plantlets. Assist with other breeding program activities as needed, including making crosses, inbreeding plants in greenhouse and harvesting field plots.
