Minimum Requirements
Six years of experience in Graphic Design. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
Position Description
This position will work with the Vice President for Institutional Equity and the Director of Projects and Publications for Institutional Equity to create and design content for diversity, equity, and inclusion publications representing the university. The person in this position must have extensive, demonstrated experience in creating materials for digital and print media, possess high-level marketing concepts, web site design standards, and branding best practices. The ideal candidate will be familiar with UofL branding standards and have expertise in working on publications that attract diverse and inclusive audiences.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Collaboration – Able to work with a team to create and produce a final design that is visually appealing and in alignment with university branding standards.
  • Project management – High-level experience developing and managing projects that positively represent corporate and higher education clients.
  • Content development – High-level experience designing, creating content, and editing polished and professional materials, including websites, flyers, and brochures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in creating high-level, polished, professional marketing materials for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience working in Higher Education.
  • Proven success in being innovative and strategic with demonstrated ability to articulate a clear vision and work with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with UofL branding standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in graphic design for large corporate or higher education organizations, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Ability to schedule projects and work within budgets.

Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
