Job Description

About this Role

Agility Partners is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Technology Support Administrator role. The Tech Support Admin is responsible for providing expert solutions and technical support for all supported Desktop Hardware platforms and Software Applications. Also responsible for maintaining a knowledge-based system of reported problems, timely escalation of unresolved problems. This position also is responsible for providing technical administration for all desktop personal computer systems.


  • Develops and provides technical coaching and mentoring to other Helpdesk members and End-users.
  • Maintains documentation on the installation of desktop personal computer operating systems and applications software.
  • Documents and communicates standard policies and procedures as defined by management.
  • Responsible for installing and maintaining all desktop hardware, personal computer operating systems (Windows, Mac & iOS), and application software.
  • Maintains or assists in maintaining knowledge-based computer system. Includes data entry of reported problems, questions, and resolutions. Also generates statistical reports for management as requested.
  • Assists Lead PC Support Specialist and Network Administrators in various project tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible for finalization of reported problems. Includes updating knowledge-based system and contacting users to verify closure and ensure satisfaction.
  • Assists in the evaluation of new computer hardware and software. Responsible for the appropriate escalation of unresolved problems or questions to other technical staff members.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Performs first (Tier I) and second level (Tier II) troubleshooting and problem resolution support for the Helpdesk.
  • Performs PC hardware and software moves, adds, and changes.

Minimum Education and Experience:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in supporting Microsoft Windows desktop infrastructure, IOS and related technologies.
  • Minimum of 1 year of technical experience supporting and maintaining personal computers and desktop applications in a business environment.
  • Must have working knowledge of personal computers as well as familiarity of local area networks and cabling topologies.
  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
