Background
Our company, MCL Systems Limited (MCL), is a developer of state of art telecom Billing and OSS software solutions, Cadebill and Ganges. These solutions are used by telecommunication companies of all sizes around the world.
As a Senior Sales/Pre-sales Director you will be responsible to strategize and lead presales technical support activity to prospective clients and customers. You will be responsible throughout the technical sales cycle with the specific task of understanding customer business and technology needs and then provide a variety of solutions with our products.
Successful candidates will have backgrounds as Telecom BSS/OSS software specialist or technical presales specialists in a telecom software environment. They should have strong market knowledge of Telecommunication, combined with a comprehensive understanding of the Telecom BSS/OSS arena.
This role demands individuals with the skills and understanding capable of bringing telecom business and software elements together in a compelling business centered solution that enhances customer business efficiency, profitability, and growth.
Candidates should posses 5 + years of experience of software development or software pre-sales or product specialist experience in a Telecom BSS/OSS world with background in Information Technology and/or Operational functions.
The candidates should have established pre-sales skills in providing telecom solutions. This could be within a sales account team environment, or a senior role focusing on the sale of software solutions. Alternatively, candidate should have a good software background, telecom experience, and desire to transition to the technical pre-sales/sales world. Candidates should have an understanding of 6-18 month sales cycles.
The candidate should have a good understanding of software enterprise architectures, the application of technology, and full life-cycle customer implementations. The candidate should possess experience in the areas listed below:

- RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
- Programming languages/concepts (.NET, C#, C++,Java, XML, Object Orientation) Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix)
- Software implementation experience, including project management analysis, designing, coding, and testing is desired
- Strong presentation skills, a confident communicator who is enthusiastic, self-starting
- Self manage, passionate in their skills, with strong work ethics, and a team player
