Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Responsible for timely collection, preparation and analysis of product samples using established procedures.
  • Ensures products meet standard specifications established for product.
  • Informs supervisor of any and all deficiencies in product.
  • Maintains written Quality Assurance records relating to quality.
  • Checks finished product weights and records results.
  • Checks container weights vs. specifications and records results.
  • Prepares, collects and tests samples of product following batching.
  • Performs daily Food Safety and HACCP Inspections.
  • Performs daily sanitation inspections for designated areas.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES:

  • Adjust, standardize, calibrate and operate Laboratory equipment.
  • Prepares and standardizes reagents and refills containers in QA Lab
  • Inspect Production equipment to be sure sanitation standards are met.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass Company paid physical.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have strong math skills and a high level of attention to details.
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
