Quality Technician
Summary
Performs quality technician responsibilities as detailed below for product being manufactured in the facility.

  • Participâte in MRB on all shifts. Back shifts responsible to review with Operations leadership that days findings.
  • Work in various areas of department. In process/First piece. Final audit/Quality Rove.
  • Uses computer daily. Plex, agile, cmm program directory, email.
  • Understands and reviews statistical process control. (SPC)
  • Assists operations in use of SPC and control plans.( appearance reports, gage instructions).
  • Participate in 5-S
  • Work closely with manufacturing in problem solving and decision making.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Quality lead off, leads the MRB function under direction of Quality Manager.
  • Uses various measurement equipment in the department. CMM, Hand operated variable and attribute gages, comparators, white light, MPI Unit, Hardness testers or other part specific gaging as necessary to perform quality checks.
  • Work with the Engineering to provide support for product development.
  • Perform measurements as stated on the control plan.
  • Assist the engineer in development of proper control charts and limits

Education
Required Skills and Education
High school degree or equivalent
Experience
Requires 2 years Engineering experience or Manufacturing background in a PM environment.
