Responsibilities

• Test drive with customers when necessary to prevent comebacks
• Provide service advisors with accurate information for repairs (cost, parts needed, time, etc.)
• Keep work areas cleaned and organized
• Use all necessary precautions with customers' vehicles (safety and cleanliness)
• Review vehicle history files, promote the sales of labor and parts as needed on vehicles
• Maintain required production levels 100-110%
• Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings
• Determine cause of malfunction through the use of test equipment, test drives, service information (bulletins) and information supplied by customers
• Report any damages or injury to service manager immediately
• Return Company tools to designated areas daily

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean, neat personal appearance
• A desire to do tasks correctly the first time
• Must have a valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work well with others
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Technical Training
• Certification or any previous experience in a related position
• Goal oriented
• Must be able to preform all required functions of this position
