Job Description
Summary


  • 6 months to direct hire based on performance.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Oversee the Flow of Maintenance Parts.
  • Experience in test measurement systems (Scope, DMM, Power Supply, Signal generators, Etcetera)
  • Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work area.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Assist engineers with a focus on post-development activities like processes, application implementation or operation.
  • Support Floor troubleshooting processes and activities.
  • Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
  • Help maintenance on floor activities related to controls and electrical issues.
  • Shadow, document & help solve machine technical problems.
  • Ensures that all work performed meets required codes (OSHA, City and Federal) and is in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves and aprons.
  • Ability to read, follow and revise electrical schematics for troubleshooting purposes and to keep the documentation up to date.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Identify & capture all machine issues (mechanical or software failures, faults, etcetera)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Review and creation of electrical schematics.
  • Experience in create electrical panels.
  • Mechanical knowledge desirable not a must.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Knowledge of plant manufacturing operations.
  • Electrical hands-on experience.
  • Effective problem solving ability
  • Ability to work well with others with minimum supervision.
  • Eager and willing to learn and ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Good typing, word processing and communication skills.
