Technical Writer Jobs

Our client in Fort Worth is bringing on a team of technical writers to document current state processes in their IT team. This will be a hybrid role for 3-6 months, which could extend. They need candidates with at least 6 months of prior IT documentation experience and you must be able to provide work samples. Experience with Visio is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand required content.

Responsibilities

• Explain technical ideas in simple language
• Meet with customer representatives to establish technical specifications
• Create user documentation for a variety of material

Qualifications

• Ability to understand highly technical information
• At least 6 months of technical documentation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the technology industry
