Technical Trainer, X-ray

You will focus on training and coaching for our Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) systems by delivering, developing and maintaining our training products while also being recognized as a product specialist by customers and subject matter experts.

Your role:

  • You will have the opportunity to gain field experiences to get a realistic view of the products and student environment to deliver training more appropriately and will work closely with different departments to drive the development of instructionally sound high quality education materials used to instruct our employees and customers for the technical service or our X-ray products. The course materials you co-develop with be used in various methods, instructor lead, e-Learning and web based uses.
  • As part of the Service Education team for the Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) Systems Business Unit you will arrange systems, materials and classrooms to ensure that the courses can be delivered in the most optimum conditions (classrooms, systems and lab environment) and are functionally guided by Instructional Designer, peer education content delivery specialists, developers and service innovation.
  • Will be to arrange systems, materials and classrooms to deliver courses in the most optimum conditions for our classrooms, systems and lab environment and present in the most active and efficient way for students to learn. You will maintain existing courses, ensure revisions and improvements are made based on new product releases and recommendation of the instructors and students.

You're the right fit if:

  • Your skills include didactical, training experience, virtual classroom delivery, with a technical background in electronics and preferably ICT
  • You have 3+ years of experience in Diagnostic Medical Equipment or comparable professional industry.
  • You thrive in working in a fast continuously changing environment.
  • You have a Bachelors degree in a technical related field, or didactical degree (preferred)
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $74,000 to $138,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
