As a TPM at SmartThings, you will help lead complex software development projects through the entire lifecycle—from requirements definition to production deployment. About The Team
SmartThings is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive our leading-edge projects. As a TPM at SmartThings, you will help lead complex software development projects through the entire lifecycle—from requirements definition to production deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide program and project status updates to executives, engineering teams, and other stakeholders
- Partner with SmartThings stakeholders to implement process improvements within the software development life cycle and program management process.
- Support the delivery of programs that support our business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Act as a dedicated point of contact for SmartThings partners and internal stakeholders, including business and technical issues, defect escalations, and schedule coordination
- Work with cross functional teams to define projects, collect requirements, and develop project milestones and dependencies.

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, logically, and with precision.
- High attention to detail, organized.
- Willingness to meet after normal work hours for meetings with partners and colleagues overseas.
- 2-3 years of project management experience
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience working across time zones, geographies, languages, and cultures.
- Knowledge of mobile and cloud software development
- Experience with Jira or similar task management tool
- International business and organizational experience
- Knowledge of Korean language
