The Impact
The Technical Business Analyst for S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Investor Relations program will play a key role in the support of our legacy application suite and report into our Product Support Manager.
You will work alongside a team of support engineers who are second level support to client requests and be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of the support backlog. You will also partner with our Client Services team to deliver first-class support to our clients and our Resilience Operations team partnering with a Site Reliability Engineer to analyze our platforms’ support needs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid understanding of web application infrastructure and operations, excellent communication and prioritization skills and a natural curiosity to understand and solve problems.

Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,800 - $118,900. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. - Facilitate knowledge transfers meetings with previous feature owners
- Accountable for early escalation, maintenance, and resolution of the support backlog.
- Identify, validate, and mitigate technology risks.
- Serve as an SME for support and communicate with Client Services and other internal stakeholders on client impacting issues.
- Overseeing project schedules and planning for deadlines.
- Lead scrum team planning, estimation, and sequencing with clear direction.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently.
- Write technical specifications explaining the standards, testing parameters, timeline, and implications of the technical solution.
- Proficient with SQL or other querying languages. Splunk, Datalog, or other monitoring or analytical tools is a plus
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in a technical support or customer support role
- A natural curiosity to understand systems and solve problems.
- Strong research capabilities.
