Job Description

Technical Applications Analyst in Denver, CO.

Visa: USC/GC

Duration: 6-12 months

Description:

A dedicated Senior Application Analyst to support line of business technical applications by analyzing and resolving issues, evaluating and developing workflows, developing & maintaining reports, evaluating requests and coordinating between users, other Information Technology functions, and vendors. After power users and IT Service Desk, this role is the next line of support, and is expected to provide detailed expertise in the specific applications assigned. Will be involved in patch evaluation, vendor provided fixes, minor and major upgrades, and implementations.

Skills Desired:

  • Experience with Merrick Suite or similar Production Accounting systems or related P2 products preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study; or five (5) years of direct experience in the systems below.
  • Experience with Peloton Wellview, Siteview and Rigview preferred.
  • Experience with Generwell, Execute (SaaS) and its various modules, including AFE, Schedule, Jobs and Workflow (or similar products) preferred.
  • Experience with Infor or equivalent asset management/supply chain systems preferred.

Required Core Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work closely with Staff to develop reports and workflows.
  • Must be able to identify significant problems and opportunities, analyze problems in depth, and relate and compare data from different sources.
  • Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Maintains conduct in accordance with rules of conduct and a good work ethic is applied daily in routine task management.
  • Ability to evaluate issues and drive to the most appropriate resolution. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form with both non-technical users and technical Information Technology functions and vendor support.
  • Ability to learn applications from both a technical support and users’ viewpoints.
