Business Objective:

Brooksource was recently awarded a new consulting engagement with one of our biggest Denver based clients. We will be growing our scope and presence within this organization, and as a result, we’re assembling a full scrum team to help develop the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network. Successful delivery of these applications, platforms, and systems will ultimately determine the success of our client’s emergence into the Wireless industry.

Additional Context:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will translate business requirements into system requirements and ensure that the system functions correctly to support the Service Management & Assurance domain. You will work cross-functionally within the business to detail out technical requirements and with the vendor and business stakeholders such as the NOC, Field Management, to drive system enhancement details and changes. The Analyst is responsible for coordinating any data requirements and functionality with the system architects. Finally, you will lead the coordination of the testing of the implementation in the system to ensure deployment accuracy. This group will have space and equipment allocated from our client but will function as a part of Brooksource’s consulting team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create analysis documentation for the implementation team/s.
• Extract and analyze data to ensure the system is meeting functional design requirements and work with product owners/business owners to help refine and create user stories.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues, answer questions, and remove blockers.
• Identify opportunities for improving existing processes and the ability to implement said changes.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and team members to analyze information needs.
• Utilize analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources (product owners/business owners etc.)
• Take high-level abstract data and dissect it into comprehensible information to create a general understanding

Technical Requirements:

• Highly motivated and a can-do-attitude is a necessity
• Wireless/Telecom background is preferred.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment
• BA/BS in Engineering/Business or a technical discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, accounting); and/or equivalent experience
• Ability to document requirement gaps in such a manner that a technical team can fulfill them
• Experience creating targeted analysis documentation, story maps, sample flows, and charts; or other technical docs to support system requirements
• Ability to see and document process flows and user journeys at a macro-level, and delve into the details that matter
• Experience with Operational Support Systems would be a plus
• Proven track record building strong relationships
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating strong analytical skills and understanding of how business requirements translate into technology solutions
