We are the developer infrastructure engineering team at TikTok. We proudly serve billions of users across the world and thousands of engineers in TikTok by building and supporting large-scale services, frameworks, tools and systems.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement DevOps practices to improve the overall software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that infrastructure meets the requirements of the application.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of code.
• Develop automated build and deployment processes to enable continuous delivery of software releases.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are highly available and scalable.
• Establish and maintain best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Design, develop and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.

Qualifications

• Understanding of network and security concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $208800 - $408000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
