Job Summary

The Keyholder is responsible for store operations in the absence of management.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor each department to ensure proper coverage
• Working knowledge of loss prevention procedures (camera room)
• Report to management any incidents while on duty
• Communicate effectively with employees, customers, management and corporate officials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Handle customer complaints as needed
• Delegate through others and sets an example for the store
• Knowledge of emergency procedures (Alarm system, call list, etc.)

Special abilities, required skills, or education needed to perform the essential job functions: Knowledge of Hamrick’s; Must currently hold a position of responsibility with Hamrick’s (Secretary, Head Financial or Dept. Supervisor).

Physical demands of the job: Bending, stooping, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), and standing for long periods of time.

OSHA Standards: This job is classified as a category “3” for being at risk or exposure to HIV, hepatitis, and other infectious diseases.
