Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements

• Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Dedicated to customer service
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Pride in getting work done accurately and timely

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Compensation: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
