Tasting Room Events Manager

Albemarle CiderWorks, an award-winning, family-owned cidery in North Garden, VA specializing in premium dry ciders, is seeking a tasting room events manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who can help grow our customer base through creating and promoting engaging public events and delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will be friendly, self-starting, sales-oriented individuals who have excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grow onsite sales by managing and promoting weekly tasting room music events and larger tasting room events throughout the year
• Manage and grow a cider club with quarterly shipments
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests of Albemarle CiderWorks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous event experience is a plus
• Experience working in a winery/cidery/brewery tasting room or comparable venue
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (a case of cider or apples)
• 21 years or older

This position will require 30-40 hours a week, weekend work and flexible hours.
