Job Description

Position summary

DPS Group has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Technical Recruiter to work out of our multidiscipline Engineering office. As a Technical Recruiter, the successful candidate will support our US Staff Augmentation Business as part of the Technical Services Operations (TSO) team. Our main clients are currently based on the East Coast and DPS strategy is to build both the existing business in this region and expand throughout the USA. The Technical Recruiter will predominantly recruit Engineering Professional Service personnel for Staff Augmentation in support of our Client Sites. Successful candidates will have a strong background in full lifecycle Technical Recruitment supporting Engineering Life sciences and or Microelectronics.

Key responsibilities

  • The Technical Recruiter will drive full lifecycle recruiting to meet the talent needs of the business and exercise judgment for engagement, screening, placement and management of candidates at our Client sites using broadly defined practices and policies under minimal supervision. While this position will recruit for a variety of positions, there is a particular emphasis on technical recruiting for the Life Sciences and Microelectronics Industries. Examples of disciplines to be engaged will include but are not limited to: Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Schedulers, Project Management, CQV Engineers, I&C Engineers, Automation Engineers, Project Controls Engineers, etc.
  • Support and participate in US company-wide Recruiting and HR initiatives for Staff Augmentation and Project Operations.
  • The Technical Recruiter will predominantly recruit Engineering Professional Service personnel for Staff Augmentation in support of our Client Sites.
  • Develop & manage the DPS Database of candidates and Clients to ensure candidate and Client information is readily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Actively manage existing candidate and or Client relationships through personal communication and regular reporting.
  • Identify, communicate and use cost-effective alternative sources to identify candidates and Clients where possible.
  • Support special projects and other tasks as required.
  • Use the most efficient, cost-effective candidate sources to fill positions, including, but not limited to: searches and posting using various career posting websites such as LinkedIn, Monster, DPS Careers Website, DPS database, referrals from existing DPS Operations and Staff Augmentation personnel, participation in job fairs and industry conferences/users groups, direct sourcing and other network referrals.

Education & experience

  • 2-5 years' professional experience in full lifecycle recruitment environment.
  • Thorough understanding of Staff Augmentation needs and Technical Recruitment and management of the same.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, ideally with a HR or Technical Recruitment qualification.
  • Experience with federal, state, and local regulations to support candidate placement.
  • Team Player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, responsive to change, pro-active, strong decision-maker and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to place candidates throughout the East Coast, and support work outside the region, as necessary.
  • Must possess strong writing and communication skills, outstanding presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Track record of success in Engineering recruitment.

Essential skills

  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Industry knowledge/background of Life Sciences and Microelectronics recruitment is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions at one time.
  • An established relationship with Engineering Life sciences candidates across a variety of mentioned engineering disciplines is preferred.
  • An established relationship with Engineering Life sciences and Microelectronic clients is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively support a recruiting/business strategy.
  • Ability to gather, interpret and report recruitment data and trends.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Minimum business experience with full cycle agency and/Corporate recruiting experience for Engineering Life Sciences and or Microelectronics.
  • Demonstrated and proven experience with a variety of recruiting sources.
