POSITION SUMMARY:
Becoming a trusted recruitment business partner by developing and implementing recruitment strategies, understanding hiring needs, identifying trends and making recommendations to staying ahead of competition in attraction of top talents. The role will be directly in charge of recruitments for NBD, Labs and support functions - Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT and Legal - roles. To increase Company’s attractiveness and growth, he/she will be leading or contributing to various projects (DE&I, internship program, social media presence, employer branding, partnerships with communities and educational institutions,…).
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
  • Nurturing relationships with managers and prospective talents, providing an excellent experience to both.
  • Leading the internship program by identifying the needs with respective HRBPs, identifying the relevant (trade) schools/College/universities/institutions to target, participating to career fairs, sharing candidate resumes and interviewing them.
  • Working collaboratively with Recruitment team and HR Teams.
  • Developing and analyzing reports and projections regarding market trends in diversity recruitment and retention in the mining and manufacturing industries.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Promoting safety awareness and compliance across the organization.
  • Always being on the lookout for opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve the recruitment process for candidates and the business
  • Thinking creatively and innovatively to identify and create diverse talent pools with a keen understanding of market availability.
  • Establishing and managing relationships with search firms and vendors, offering access to potential diverse candidates, and knowledge and opportunities that will help the company grow and progress its diversity goals.
  • Leading the internship program
  • Maintaining data integrity of applicants in Workday;
  • Posting jobs, screening resumes, facilitating interview and hiring discussions with qualified candidates,
  • Developing and implementing strategies to research, source, recruit, and retain diverse salary candidates that will directly contribute to the Company’s growth and business goals.
  • Partnering with managers to meet staffing needs by introducing top talents to the company, and so become a trusted recruitment business partner by understanding hiring needs, identifying trends and making recommendations to staying ahead of competition in attraction of top talents;
  • Managing the full recruitment process NBD, Labs and support functions - Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT and Legal - roles across the Company;
  • Leading and contributing to projects directly impacting recruitment – DE&I, employer branding, social media, networking and partnering with educational institutions,… with the goal to bring more diverse candidates to the Company
  • Keeping up to date with the latest Human Resources trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Actively networking in the mining industry, local communities, local high schools, college/universities, professional organizations, and trade schools and diversity related organizations with the goal of identifying and introducing potential candidates to the Company. Participating to conference and job fairs.

  • Interviewing skills
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Solid social media tool utilization for recruitment (linked, metaverse, Instagram, tik tok, etc.) and previous Workday recruitment knowledge is highly desired.
Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:
  • Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% - with seasonal peak
  • Must be physically capable of accessing all plant and office locations.
  • The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
  • When visiting operational sites, the employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR, Communication, Business, and/or Industrial Relations or equivalent working experience in the HR field is desired.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree is a plus. SPHR/PHR certification is a plus.
Proficient Spanish language both speaking and writing skills is a plus.
