Overview: Gameday Your Way is a growing events hospitality business that specializes in delivering fun & engaging events for our customers before football games at Notre Dame, Northwestern, University of Wisconsin, Indiana University and Soldier Field We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as lead Event Manager for our large private tailgate experiences. As the Event Support member, you will be responsible for the successful setup and execution of tailgates for alumni and athletic associations of Notre Dame’s opponents.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and breakdown event equipment which includes tables, tents, chairs, and fencing
• Follow compliance standards with health and safety regulations, including food handling, crowd control, and emergency protocols
• Execute event plans, timelines, including setup, and tear down
• Assist in the management of vehicle traffic and parking at the event.

Shift:

• 10-14 hours

Date Range:

• 90-minute prep meetings the week of the event. Event days to be worked are outlined below and are subject to increase depending on event bookings.
• Working dates of October 14th and November 18th.

Work Setting:

• In-person at event sites near Notre Dame’s campus

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and follow timelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors, clients, and staff
• Proven ability to lead and motivate event staff
• 2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in sports or entertainment industry
