Position Overview and Job Responsibilities:

KODA Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer with Avionics/Electrical Expertise to support the development of the Mars Ascent Vehicle Integrated System (MAVIS).

The selected candidate will participate in the design, analysis, integration, test and verification of MAVIS avionics/electrical systems and components. They will help develop, direct, and coordinate technical documentation such as initial requirements, design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and verification reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Systems Engineering (Traditional/Digital) and Avionics/Electrical System Integration/Development
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Electrical, Avionics, or Systems Engineering combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• NASA or Commercial Space development experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• A Master's degree in an Engineering field

Other Things You Should Know: Partial telework, but candidate must be based in the Huntsville, AL area as some work is required in local facility. 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
