Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a DESIGN ENGINEER FOR LAUNCH VEHICLES in Decatur, AL. The DESIGN ENGINEER is responsible for the development and design of composite and metallic structures for the Launcher product unit.
Responsibilities Of a DESIGN ENGINEER Includes

• Support Design trade studies
• Handling of design obligation across various projects
• Lead and execute the detailed plan design and creation of detailed assembly designs and interface drawings
• Assess proposed changes, and set up changes requests
• Facilitate with other architects attached to the project
• Making draft concepts and concept studies according to determinations of specifications
• Creation of proposition bids and presentation articles and brief portrayals of the plan proposition
• Creation of the specialized technical documentation ( assembly plan, single parts and assembly drawings, parts records and details, test samples) utilizing CAD, SAP and PC applications
• Coordinate and create progressed concepts, advances and materials in collaboration with the technological group and manufacturing and J&T design
• Perception of self-control within the setting of inputs, particularly when submitting required parts demonstrate information records
• Support manufacturing, testing, and PA
• Carrying out the regulatory task related to release and change management
• Evaluate NC’s and back the error handling process

Job Requirements Of a DESIGN ENGINEER

• Mindfulness for costs and plan
• Issue fathoming abilities
• FEMAP/NxNastran
• Demonstrated success performing in a lead capacity on numerous plan basic improvement projects
• Organizational abilities
• Great communication and participation
• ABAQUS or other non-linear solver useful
• Analysis aptitudes on composite and metallic materials covering following domains: Structural ( static, dynamic)
• Solid MATLAB abilities
• Hand calculation strategies

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• S. in Engineering
• 10+ Years of relevant industry experience
• Security Clearance / International Traffic In Arms Regulations ( ITAR) This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic In Arms Regulations ( ITAR).
