Job Description
Summary


Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Design Engineer you will be responsible for creation and maintaining, internal and external, engineering documentation which includes production ready drawings and BOM's.This position can potentially be remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Works with manufacturing to support construction of products
  • Creation of BOM's
  • Provides technical assistance to Program Management and Production
  • Develop layouts, detailed drawings, and construction details using AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Provides purchasing with required information


Education/Experience


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Associate degree or equivalent in a related field


Other Experience Preferred


  • Mechanical design and layout of multi part
  • Previous sign shop experience (preferred)
  • Solid works or equivalent
  • Sheetmetal design and layout
  • AutoCAD or equivalent
