Systems Engineer Jobs

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
• Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
• Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies

Clearance Required Active TS/SCI with eligibility to obtain CI poly

Degree and Years of Experience BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

• 5+ years of related systems engineering experience

• Enterprise scale backup technologies
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
• Juniper / Cisco Networking
• Certification and Accreditation Experience
• DISA STIG Audits, hardening and remediation procedures
• Enterprise Storage Systems (EMC (Unity, Isilon platforms) NetApp)
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
• Risk Management Frameworks
• Cisco ASA / Palo Alto Firewalls
• A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following
• Application load balancing, proxy configurations, and traffic routing tools (F5 Networks, NGINX, or HA Proxy) in addition to web authentication methods (SAML or OAUTH)
