Job Description
Overview:

You will work with a dedicated group of professionals and be responsible for maintaining and managing the information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and other computer systems, ensuring that systems operate efficiently, securely and are updated with the latest software and hardware. The successful applicant will work from New York, NY, on a hybrid basis (approximately 50% on-site). This position's salary range is $96,000 - $97,775 / year, with an annual incentive opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Run performance diagnostics and perform proactive system health checks.
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Perform planned and emergency maintenance upgrades of software and equipment.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues in a production environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality; adheres to the AAA’s information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Support and troubleshoot various systems (including, but not limited to, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, GPO, and other Windows technologies).
  • Provide technical support escalation for the helpdesk and company users.
  • Attend on-site and in-person meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, information technology, or related discipline; 2 years of professional work experience in an information technology support or system role or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers, arbitrators, mediators, or employees of the organization.
Communications Abilities: (Verbal) Expresses oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others; tailors speech to the level and experience of the audience; uses appropriate grammar and choice of words; expresses ideas in a concise, organized manner; maintains eye contact when speaking with others; (Written) Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in writing; tailors written communications to reach an audience effectively; uses graphics and other aids to clarify complex or technical information; spells correctly; writes using concrete, specific language; uses punctuation correctly; writes grammatically.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical reports, data charts, and graphs.
