System Operator - Day Shift

Job Summary: Ensures the delivery of safe high-quality water to customers and member agencies by operating the water supply, transmission, and distribution system pipelines and facilities to meet customer demands, regulatory requirements, and District goals.
Job Hours/Shifts/Travel: The System Operator position can be filled to cover either graveyard shifts or day shifts. The Graveyard Shifts work 4 days on, 4 days off from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; the Day Shifts work a rotation consisting of 10 to 12-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required for professional training once or twice per year.

The background check may include, but is not limited to, criminal history, education and employment verification, and credit history. The drug screening may test for illegal drugs and controlled substances.
