The primary responsibility is to enhance through education the performance of those who serve our patients and customers. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:**
Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Individuals with an associate degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor's degree nursing within three years of hire date. **Preferred/Optional:**
Bachelor's degree in nursing. **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:**
Three years clinical experience, to include experience in a long term, acute and/or ambulatory care setting. **Preferred/Optional:**
Two years nursing experience utilized in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting.
Experience in an academic or instructional setting. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._ **Minimum Required:** + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within one year of hire. + American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support Recognition and Instructor based on business need. + Applicable certifications and license based up degree held. **Preferred/Optional:**
