Role: Operational Resiliency Data and Metrics
Summary
The COO Team for Operational Resiliency, CASS and Control is primarily responsible for the day-to-day enablement of the unit’s strategy. The COO team works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the function and the business in the management of risk.
This role reports to the COO of Operational Resiliency, CASS and Control and acts as the Lead of the Data Analytics & Reporting team and is responsible for the management of the strategy on First Line of Defense (1LOD) risk data measurement, analytics and reporting for Asset Servicing both at an aggregated, Business Team, Regional and Legal Entity level. This data can then be used by Control, Resiliency and CASS SMEs to further assess aggregate risk, thematic risk, concentration risk and enable risk escalation.
The role holder will need to be an expert on data analytics methodology, measurement and tooling, and have the ability to manage multiple projects as well as ensuring BAU commitments are fulfilled, working closely with the Second Line Risk Analytics team. The output of these metrics will be used by the team in reporting to senior management, the Board, and in some cases our regulators.
We are looking for a transformational leader who can move us from static metric reporting to automated on demand reporting for the 1LOD Oversight team and our business leadership to understand the risk in their business, linking into our Risk Appetite.
MAJOR DUTIES
We work hard to create an inclusive environment where every individual feels respected and empowered to play a critical role in our success. But we also believe balance isn’t just important – it’s essential. That’s why we offer a robust set of benefits that allow for both a compelling career and a fulfilling life:
Financial – Life Insurance, Disability Plans, Pension/Gratuity, Annual Pay Review
Work-Life Balance – Flexible Work Options, Incremental Annual Leave, Paid Community Volunteer Days
Professional Development – Career Paths, Educational Assistance, Recognition Program, NT University, and employee-led Business Resource Councils dedicated to an inclusive culture
Health & Well-being –Medical Insurance, Active Sports & Social Clubs (lunchtime and after-work groups), Employee Assistance Progra
