Education:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Must have one of the following requirements: Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Nursing Assistant with 3yrs of OB scrub experience.
  • American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider
  • Three (3) years of experience in an operating room.
  • Certified Scrub Tech (CST) Certification.

Position Summary:
The Scrub Technician is a member of the nursing team who contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of the patients by performing specifically assigned tasks and works under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Provides surgical scrub assistance for cases performed in Women’s Services.
  • Responsible for the establishment / evaluation of the PAR level for supplies as well as the routine stocking, cleaning & maintenance of instruments for the unit. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Support and provide services to the Labor and Delivery/ Post-Partum patients as directed by the Registered Nurse.
