About the role:

The Supply Chain Strategy Manager reports to the Director of Supply Chain. You will oversee Covington's Supply Chain strategic capabilities, systems and improvement projects. You will own the project portfolio of improvement and innovation projects within the department, has the oversight of relevant projects in the network. You will drive for alignment in processes, best practice sharing and improvements on all levels of supply operations within the network. You will collect gaps, opportunities and tasks from experts and leaders within the network and trends and innovations from sources within and outside of the organization, acts as project coordinator and owner and ensures timely implementation of defined improvement ideas. You will align local improvement initiatives with the goals of the network and global functions and makes sure that initiatives are facilitated as a network whenever possible. Responsible for strategic and operational analysis and planning for future years.

How You Will Contribute

• Analysis, Process Mapping, Reporting, Tracking/Measuring and other Admin duties
• Other Supply Chain related support
• Project and Process Improvement Leadership and Support
• Team Development and Management
• Development and tracking of Strategic roadmaps

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience with 1+ years as a supervisor.
• Experience in Agile, LEAN, and strategic analysis
• Experience with driving and coordinating supply chain quality initiatives and corrective actions.
• Prioritization of tasks and initiatives within the team using PRTB, Must Win initiatives, Site Goals
• Typically requires bachelors’ degree preferably in business, science, economics, engineering, or Supply Chain.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which priorities may rapidly change.
• Manage Risk and Benefit assessment across a variety of topics (Safety, Cost, Efficiency, etc.)
• Decisions on necessity of escalation of issues to upper management.
• Experience with Bio-Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Experience with integrated ERP systems, and Advanced Planning tools.
• Manage a variety of stake-holders
• Knowledge supply chain management fundamentals and practical experience
• Experience in a GMP or similarly regulated business environment.
• Workload balance evaluation.
• Must have uncompromising dedication to quality.

In This Role, You May

At Takeda, our patients rely on us to create quality products and we aim to create a safe environment for our team members. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product or putting anyone at the site in harm's way.

• Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
• Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
• Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
• Work in a cold, wet environment.
• Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
